The ECH is a 4 passenger, 3 door hatchback medium speed vehicle (MSV). It is available with several battery configurations depending on range and terrain requirements. The ECH has a range of over 80 miles and a battery pack life of over 100,000 miles. Longer range battery packs are also available, with ranges approaching 200 miles. Overnight charging using standard household 120V 15A outlet should provide more than sufficient range for most driving applications. High rate chargers are also available capable of recharging a completely depleted pack in as little as 2 1/2 hours.
Most Neighborhood Electrics and MSVs have difficulty on hilly
terrain. If you have been behind an EV trying to climb a hill you
know what we are talking about.
The ECH has a highly engineered AC induction drive and power system
allowing it to tackle 7+ degree inclines with power to spare.
